The grape seed and jojoba oil basis acts as a wonderful carrier substance for the cupuacu butter.

Cupuacu is a tree which grows in the Amazon region and bears fruit which is related to the cocoa bean. The typical fragrance of chocolate is also an indication of this. The melon-like fruits have long been used as a source of nutrition, whilst the oily seeds were highly valued by shamen due to their healing effects and use in body care. The high content of phytosterols and vitamin E explains the traditional knowledge of the Amazonian natives.
